About
My name is Khoa Nguyen (he/him/his). I am an alumnus of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with a BA in Human Physiology and minors in Integrative Neuroscience and Public Health. I currently attend Columbia University at the Mailman School of Public Health as a first-year MPH candidate studying Sociomedical Sciences with a certificate in Infectious Disease Epidemiology. I am interested in intersectional health equity, infectious disease epidemiology, and healthcare administration.
I have been interested in photography as a kid, taking pictures with my little iPhone 3GS and then advancing into iPhoneography with upgraded Apple devices. In late-middle school, I got my first DSLR that I still use today (a Canon T6i). I experimented with photography and also took two film photography classes in high school. Nowadays, I am a self-taught photographer on the side with experience including senior portraits, prom photos, group pictures, and event/travel photography. I love to focus on creative portraits, especially in natural lighting. I post-process on Adobe Lightroom and casually on VSCO, and would love to express my creativity more and build up my portfolio.
Feel free to connect with me on my socials to collaborate, book a shoot, or hang out!
